Lawrence Spindel, DDS
Dr. Spindel graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry in 1980. His exceptional academic performance led to his induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society for being at the forefront of his class. Additionally, he was recognized with the Long Island Academy of Odontology Award for demonstrating the highest scholastic achievement and clinical proficiency throughout his professional studies. Following his graduation, he pursued further training through a general practice residency at Manhattan Veteran’s Hospital in 1981 before establishing his private dental practice in Manhattan.

Since 1982, Dr. Spindel has dedicated himself to providing comprehensive dental care, with a specialization in Cosmetic, Implant, and Preventive Dentistry. He has shared his expertise with the next generation of dental professionals through teaching positions at esteemed institutions such as New York University College of Dentistry and Columbia University. Presently, he holds faculty positions as an adjunct instructor in the department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care at NYU College of Dentistry and as a clinical instructor at the Mount Sinai general practice residency program. Throughout his career, Dr. Spindel has actively engaged in clinical trials and contributed to the dental community through publications in peer-reviewed journals.

His passion for Cosmetic Dentistry led to his election as a Fellow into the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics in 1997. Dr. Spindel's commitment to excellence has been acknowledged by numerous accolades, including being listed among America's Top Dentists and receiving the Opencare 2017 Patient’s Choice Award for his outstanding patient reviews. His dedication to patient care is further demonstrated by his informative Ask Dr. Spindel Dental Blog, which he has maintained since 2005. Recognized for its valuable content, the blog was highlighted by The Washington Post in 2015 and named one of the top dental blogs in 2019 by Value Penguin.
As a leader in his field, Dr. Spindel actively participates in the Spear Study Club, where he collaborates with peers to enhance the quality of dental care provided to their patients. His commitment to ongoing education and embracing new advancements ensures that he consistently delivers the highest standard of dental care to his patients.
David Spindel, DDS
Dr. Spindel was raised in Larchmont, NY, a small town in Westchester County. He double majored in Biochemistry and Spanish at The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, from which he graduated with honors in 2017. He then went on to pursue his career in dentistry, following in his fathers footsteps and began his studied at New York University College of Dentistry.
While at NYU, David's academic and clinical achievements allowed him to place into Invisalign Honors course in his third year. Then in his fourth year, David was selected to participate in a Mini-Residency Honors Program where he was treating patients at the Washington Square Location for NYU Dental, known as Faculty Practice.
Following his graduation in 2022, he pursued further training through a General practice residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital before joining the family private dental practice and establishing a career in Manhattan.
